Young Industries offers a wide range of equipment available for customer testing normally at no cost. Our newest addition to our Test Lab Facility in Muncy, PA is our Stinger® Screw Feeder complete with Young Industries exclusive DoS-Weigh® control system.
Customer required a Volumetric Feeder to meter 1 cu. ft. batches of free-flowing powder weighing 130 lbs. per cu. ft. at rate of 180-480 lbs. per hour. Accuracy is needed to feed a complete batch into the process with minimal product retained in the feeder. Due to process concerns, 304S/S construction is preferred on all interior and exterior components. The feeder must also be easily removed from the process when not in use.
